Augustus Louis

Becu (born May 3, 1771 in Grodno, died. A ugust 26, 1824 in Vilnius, Lithuania) - Polish physician and prof essor of medicine, hygiene, and pathology professor at the Univer sity of Vilnius, stepfather Julius Slowacki. Came from settled in the seventeenth century, the French Protestant family in Pomerania. His father, John Louis Becu, resettled by the Polish king Stanislaw August. Mother was Caroline of HeinĂłw. He graduated from high school in Grodno, then (with a gold medal) School of Lithuania.
